The VAS QA Inspector performs a number of tasks in the inspection area supporting internal and external customer requirements. Tasks include but are not limited to repetitive and moderately complex rework, product testing, and inspection processes.
Pay: $15.00 per hour

Summary:
The VAS QA Inspector performs a number of tasks in the inspection area supporting internal and external customer requirements. Tasks include but are not limited to repetitive and moderately complex rework, product testing, and inspection processes.
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Primary Responsibilities:
- Administers and operates the organization's warehouses, including processing, packaging and storage of supplies, materials and equipment
- Uses verbal and written instruction for rework, testing, and inspection of product
- Lifts, unpacks, tests, repacks, and documents results
- Lifts, unpacks, adds or removes materials, repacks, and documents results
- Reports work status to VAS QA Manager
- Provides support as requested by a Lead
- Maintains cleanliness of inspection area
- Helps with the packing and taping of boxes of products
- Moves material with pallet jack or on cart
- Supports safety initiatives and follows all safety guidelines
- Pays close attention to detail to ensure the processes are done correctly
- Must count parts and product accurately
- Use a computer to perform testing/flashing of products
- Use test fixtures as directed
- Print labels using any applicable program
- Understand, support and execute all work in a safe manner using the established procedures, methods and safe working requirements
- Implements and maintains department policies and standards
- Perform any other related duties as required or assigned
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1 year of experience using Microsoft applications (i.e., Excel, Word, PPT, etc.) and SharePoint.
- Must be familiar in working with electronic devices
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide
- Ability to read and comprehend procedures and work instructions
- Strong attention to detail and written/verbal communication skills
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods
- Ability to bend, push, pull, reach, grab, turn, twist, and/or stoop
- Ability to grab small parts or hand tools with hand
- Proven ability to multi-task, set project priorities, goals and objectives for self
- Ability to effectively & professionally communicate with co-workers, customers and vendors.
