Product Management - Remote & Flexible Hours

Location: Remote. Hours: You set them, up to 20/wk.

Comp: $20/hr potential commission. 1099.

Who we're looking for

Someone who's lived the solo-business life and can translate that experience into software. You'd be a fit if you've worked as a:

- Hair or Makeup Artist (HMUA) — bridal, editorial, salon, freelance

- Coach — tennis, baseball, yoga, personal training, anything 1:1 or small-group

- Photographer — wedding, portrait, event, commercial

- Solo founder of any service business with bookings, clients, and a calendar to defend

The verticals differ; the problems rhyme. Client intake. Pricing tiers. Travel fees. Deposits. Reschedules. No-shows. Repeat clients. Gallery- or referral-driven inquiries. We're betting that someone who's felt these problems firsthand will spot what no software team

can see from the outside.

The role

We're building bookings AI tools for small service businesses. The app is already live with paying customers. We need a hands-on advisor who can wear two hats:

- Product — translate real-world workflow into product decisions, sit beside the founder and engineering team, shape what gets built next.

- Customer engagement — talk to our customers, help them articulate what they actually need, surface patterns the team would otherwise miss.

- Lead Generation - Generate leads, convert them, create marketing campaign

What you'll do

- Sit in on product reviews and call out what no operator would actually do

- Walk us through your own booking flow, pricing, contracts, no-shows, repeat clients

- Talk to customers on the platform and bring their real problems back to the team

- Test new features and AI prompts before they ship; tell us where they fail

- Help draft copy, defaults, and onboarding flows in language operators actually use

- Occasionally record short screen-walks or voice notes on a workflow we're debating

What we want

- Active or recent experience running your own service business (any of the lanes above)

- Opinions. Strong ones. About tools, clients, pricing, scheduling

- Willing to dig into a half-built feature and say "no, this is wrong because..."

- Comfortable on a customer call — listening more than pitching

- Generate documents and specifications

Software experience not required. If you want to learn how product and AI get built, this is a front-row seat — you'll be in the room while it happens. Path to a larger or full-time role is open based on what you bring.
