POSITION INFO:
The position is responsible for distribution activities to support the site’s operational requirements and initiatives. This position coordinates/supervises all processes and activities related to receiving, stocking, replenishment, order processing, returns process & shipping/transportation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervises safe operation of the warehouse including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipment of products by directing the day-to-day utilization of space, equipment, and personnel to support customer service, on-time complete and order fulfillment requirements.
- Promotes efficient DC operations to achieve productivity goals, service levels, facility housekeeping/organization; and inventory accuracy. Ensures product is shipped and handled with highest quality standards while achieving maximum productivity and profitability. Ensures all work areas are neat and orderly
- Schedules personnel, equipment, services and pick priority to meet operating requirements. Maintains a steady pace of work so that all orders are shipped in a timely manner. Coordinates with Customer support teams to meet customer needs.
- Supervises cycle counting for on-time, accurate delivery of materials. Investigates inventory discrepancies for root cause, implements corrective action, reconciles differences, reports findings
- Hires and trains associates and contingent workers to perform their jobs properly, safely, and efficiently. Coordinates with staffing agency as needed. Conducts performance reviews and makes recommendations regarding employment, performance ratings, compensation changes, promotions, transfers, and terminations.
- Conducts regularly scheduled team meetings to keep associates appraised of operational changes and allow all warehouse personnel to participate in the feedback loop.
- Enforces good safety practices through training, promoting accident prevention and enforcing safety policies. Reports all safety hazards, unsafe working conditions, abnormal circumstances, accidents or other problem areas to Site Leadership.
- Has the ability to complete the job functions of all Distribution Center associates. Including but not limited to all aspect of the order picking and shipping process, including UPS Worldship. Accurately transferring or putting away stock within the warehouse. Driving and maintaining all Power Industrial Vehicles, load or unloading trucks. Performs these duties as needed to cover during staffing shortages.

EXPERIENCE:
- 3 to 5 years distribution experience in a management or supervision role is required.
- Previous experience in operation of PIV equipment required.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
TRAINING AND SKILLS:
Fluent in English. Spanish a plus. Must have a tolerance for work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities where multi-tasking is a daily requirement. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel applications as well as SAP WMS systems.
