SUNY Niagara is seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Typist. This is an excellent opportunity to begin a career in higher education while taking advantage of the New York State Hiring for Emergency Limited Placement (HELP) Program.Under the HELP Program, qualified candidates may be appointed without taking a Civil Service examination. This position utilizes office technology and software to prepare documents, maintain records, process information, and provide support to faculty, staff, students, and the public.  This position will support both our EOP (Educational Opportunity Program) office and our new ASAP (Advancing Success in Associate Pathways) office.  While most assignments follow established procedures, the successful candidate will exercise sound judgment in organizing work, prioritizing assignments, and completing tasks accurately and efficiently.SUNY Niagara provides phenomenal benefits to our employees.
