CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

We are looking for an experienced Full-Time Customer Service Representative. This position is located in South Holland Illinois. We maintain an absolute commitment to the safety of our employees and customers. This is demonstrated by a pledge to the well-being of the community and the environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Interact daily and directly with customers regarding the pricing of products, taking customer orders, open order inquiries, building loads for shipments, and resolving customer service issues.
· Working in conjunction with the Outside Sales Team to build relationships to sell our product and service the customer.
· Monitor and assist in maintaining appropriate inventory levels consistent with the financial and other objectives of the Company.
· Develop, maintain, and institutionalize product, customer, and business process knowledge.
QUALIFICATIONS
- An associate's degree in a business-related field or previous customer service in a manufacturing or steel industry is helpful.
- 3 or more years of experience in a sales or customer services position
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong computer skills, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Must be able to identify customer concerns and requirements, communicate such internally to appropriate individuals and/or departments, and ensure their resolution on a basis consistent with Niagara’s capabilities.
