Duties
In this role, you will provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years old.. You will be responsible for their care, development, and well-being while fostering a positive and engaging learning experience.
Duties may include but are not limited to:
- Covering Staff Absences
- Assisting with Daily Activities
- Supporting Child Development
- Maintaining a Safe Environment
- Communicating with Staff and Families
- Adapting to Different Classrooms
Requirements
•Experience or willingness to learn how to work with children ages 6 weeks through 5 years.
•Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving.
•Patience, nurturing personality, and ability to create a positive environment.
•CPR and first aid certification within the first 30 days of employment
•Ability to work well with a team.
•Experience working with children in a childcare setting.
•High school diploma or equivalent required; CDA or related degree preferred.
