An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Head Cook Fixed Term/Secondment for 12 months to work within the kitchen at Perth Royal Infirmary. We are looking for a chef who can support the Head Chef and be part of the main team. You are required to deliver a high standard of Catering Services within the Hospital to patients, staff and visitors whilst maintaining a clean, safe working environment. Applicants must have a working knowledge of HACCP, Health & Safety & COSHH procedures. Previous experience of cooking in a large-scale Catering environment at a supervisory level is preferred, as is a good knowledge of working procedures, practices & equipment through a combination of experience and professional qualifications.
You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
Enhancements are paid for weekend working.
