👩⚕️ What You'll Do
- Oversee day-to-day clinical operations of your assigned unit
- Lead, supervise, coach, and support RNs, LPNs, and CNAs
- Conduct regular patient rounds and monitor quality of care
- Assess changes in patient condition and ensure appropriate follow-up
- Ensure physician orders are carried out accurately and timely
- Monitor clinical documentation for accuracy and completeness
- Support individualized care planning and interdisciplinary coordination
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and the care team
- Support quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives
- Promote infection prevention and regulatory compliance
- Help develop staff through coaching, education, and accountability
- Maintain a visible, hands-on leadership presence on the unit
- Current Alabama Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
- Previous nursing experience required
- Leadership, Charge Nurse, Supervisor, Unit Manager, or Nurse Manager experience preferred
- Skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, post-acute, or geriatric nursing experience preferred
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to coach, mentor, and develop nursing staff
- Strong understanding of clinical documentation and care planning
- Dependable, professional, and committed to exceptional patient care
