Working under the direction of the Restorative Nurse, you'll spend meaningful one-on-one time with residents while supporting mobility, range of motion, ambulation, activities of daily living, and individualized restorative programs.

The Restorative Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) assists residents with individualized restorative and rehabilitative programs designed to help maintain or improve physical, mental, and psychosocial functioning.
You'll work closely with the Restorative Nurse and interdisciplinary care team to help residents preserve their abilities and remain as independent as possible.

You'll work closely with the Restorative Nurse and interdisciplinary care team to help residents preserve their abilities and remain as independent as possible.
π What You'll Do
- Assist residents with individualized restorative nursing programs
- Encourage residents to achieve and maintain their highest practical level of independence
- Assist with ambulation, transfers, positioning, and mobility
- Perform and assist with range-of-motion exercises
- Support residents with prosthetic and adaptive devices
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding
- Provide individualized encouragement and support throughout restorative activities
- Observe residents for changes in condition, ability, or tolerance and report concerns appropriately
- Follow individualized resident care and restorative plans
- Complete electronic and/or written documentation accurately and on time
- Maintain resident dignity, privacy, safety, and comfort
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- Restorative nursing or long-term care experience preferred
- Interest in rehabilitation, mobility, and helping residents maintain independence
- Patient, encouraging, and positive approach to resident care
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Dependable with strong communication and teamwork skills
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English
- Must be capable of performing the essential functions of the position
