The Day Shift RN provides comprehensive nursing care, oversees clinical operations on the unit, and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to deliver safe, effective, and person-centered care.
โ Key Responsibilities
- Perform assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments in compliance with protocols
- Monitor resident conditions and document changes accurately
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and nursing staff
- Educate residents and families on care plans and health conditions
- Supervise and support CNAs and LPNs
- Ensure regulatory compliance and infection control standards
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Experience in long-term care or rehabilitation preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and documentation skills
- Compassionate, resident-first mindset
- BLS/CPR required (ACLS a plus)
