Under established policies and procedures, the Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout assigned areas of the facility, ensuring a high standard of appearance and infection control.
✅ Key Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties in assigned areas according to daily, weekly, and monthly schedules
- Use approved cleaning agents and equipment following proper procedures
- Dust, damp wipe, wash, sanitize, and polish fixtures and furnishings as needed
- Clean resident rooms including furniture, beds, bed frames, rails, nightstands, tables, chairs, shelves, light fixtures, TVs, radios, and door surfaces
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment throughout the facility
- Housekeeping experience preferred
- Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English
- Patience, tact, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude toward the elderly and disabled
- Ability to perform essential job functions and meet physical and sensory requirements
