This role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while delivering high-quality, nutritious meals in a clean, safe, and sanitary environment. You’ll work closely with the Administrator and/or Dietary Consultant to support resident health, satisfaction, and recovery.

✅ Key Responsibilities
- Assist with planning, organizing, and directing daily Dietary Department operations
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local dietary and sanitation regulations
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen and dining environment
- Support menu planning and food preparation to meet residents’ nutritional needs
- Supervise dietary staff and assist with scheduling and workflow
- Monitor food quality, portion control, and meal service standards
- Ensure proper food storage, handling, and sanitation practices
- Collaborate with leadership to continuously improve dietary services
- Certification by the Association of Nutrition and Food Service Professionals.
- Completion of a certified Dietary Manager Exam.
- 2 years in foodservice management.
- Good mathematical skills.
- Highly organized and responsible.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills.
