Position Overview: Business Office Manager
In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the business office within the facility. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing Medicaid and Medicare billing, including the full claims cycle, denial resolution, and Medicaid application processing from documentation through eligibility approval
- Overseeing accounts receivable across all payer sources, auditing resident accounts, and driving collections to support the financial health of the facility
- Conducting financial analysis and reporting, tracking performance against goals, and communicating findings to facility and corporate leadership
- Completing admission financial reviews to assess payer eligibility for incoming residents and support census and revenue goals
- Maintaining business office oversight, including census reporting, resident trust fund reconciliation, and compliance with state and federal billing regulations
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management
- New graduates are encouraged to apply; prior healthcare experience is not required
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently
