NHS Highland is embarking on an exciting new chapter following a comprehensive service redesign, and we are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our Corporate Governance Service as a Corporate Administrator.
Required
In this pivotal role, postholders will work flexibly across the Corporate Support Team and this will include the following duties as required according to workloads and demands:
- working closely with Directors in all aspects of their work, understanding their workload and its complexities and thus enabling them to focus on their key priorities. This involves providing a confidential, efficient, effective administrative service, interpreting and prioritising mail, developing and maintaining systems for the recording and actioning of mail, preparing
responses to correspondence and effectively managing electronic diaries.
- planning, organising and servicing Board and Committee meetings supporting the work of NHS Highland to a high standard, ensuring all deadlines are timeously met.
- resolving day to day problems independently and liaise with other Corporate Support Team colleagues as well as those in other directorates.
- providing assistance with a range of administrative processes in support of board governance, corporate records management, risk register updates, whistleblowing standards, freedom of information requests and complaints.
