Safety Specialist wanted for highway/heavy contractor in Western North Carolina. Responsible for a comprehensive safety & training program protecting employees, subcontractors, and the public.
Ideal candidate:
Construction safety experience required.
OSHA certification & credentials.
Working knowledge of D.O.T. safety regulations.
Good word processing and power point computer skills.
Ability to communicate with field personnel, management, owner's representatives, and compliance personnel.
Self-starter is critical.
Salary dependent upon experience and training. Benefits package included.
Acceptable driving record, drug screen & background check required.
