NHK Seating of America, Inc. is owned by NHK Spring of Japan. The Frankfort plant supports an Automotive company in Lafayette. We supply the seats in a fast-paced, Just-In-Time environment. A finished seat can come off our line about every minute. Our production requirements are directly linked to our customer, as customer demand increases and decreases on a daily basis so does NHK Seat production requirements.
Pay Wage: $24.00 -$27.00 / hour depending on experience
Schedule: 1st shift available
*Must have flexible schedule. Daily overtime may be required.
Maintenance Technician Responsibilities
- Inspect buildings, equipment, and systems to identify any issues.
- Repair faulty equipment units and damaged structures.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance procedures.
- Preform repairs on all production and facility equipment. Electrical, Mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Plan and schedule repairs.
- ·Conduct periodic quality checks on equipment and systems to ensure everything is up to standard.
- Perform general maintenance on building and grounds.
- Help develop and implement the budget for the maintenance department.
- Maintain the inventory records for equipment and supplies.
Maintenance Technician Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Advanced understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques.
- Physically capable and available to work overtime including weekends, public holidays, and evenings.
- Effective problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be well- organized and have the ability to prioritize tasks.
