2nd Shift Shipping Lead Material Plant 1
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ability to perform any shop floor Shipping function
- Communicate any problems to the Materials Technician / Admin
- Willingness to learn how to cut Shippers and B.O.L. for the completed loads and provide to drivers
- Assist Technician in directing work flow / activity of materials associates
- Must know how to operate ASRS System/ Tekno system
- Assist associates where necessary
- Ability to perform / fill in for an associate when absent
- Before leaving, ensure associates daily tasks are completed. IE: Area’s stocked, work area is clean, any pre-staging for the next shift is completed, etc…
- Shipping Scanner overrides
- Must be able to cover the Shipping tech when absent
- Must be willing to learn other Lead/Supervisor functions to allow coverage for absences.
- Expect excellent attendance
- Must be willing to work overtime with little to no notice
- Have to be able to work with minimal supervision
- Must have experience or be willing to learn AS/400 & Infor system
- Must have experience or be willing to learn Microsoft Excel and Word
- Responsible for shift meeting if Technician is absent.
- Investigate parts shortages
- All other duties as assigned
