We are seeking a Salon Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the beauty industry specifically dealing with natural afro textured hair and be passionate about providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Assist stylists with shampoo and styling
- Operate scalp and hair treatment devices
- Provide customer support- post care reporting
- Upsell retail products to clients
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
-Experience:
- Must be a licensed cosmetologist (1 year) or about to finish cosmo school
- Experience with natural hair (afro) industry is required - must know how to do a simple braid down for wigs.
- Knowledge of retail for upselling products
