Project Manager (Truss Manufacturing)
Location: Chillicothe, OH
Roles & Responsibilities
Customer Relationship Management
• Research and pursue potential new customers
• Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships
• Visit existing customers in person on a bi-weekly basis
• Serve as the primary point of contact from initial inquiry through job completion
• Communicate updates on company policies, pricing, and lead times
• Gather customer feedback to improve products, service, and internal processes
Bid & Pricing Management
• Prepare quotes for standard jobs (non-engineered / non-design builds)
• Stay informed on market pricing and provide feedback to the design team
• Track customer activity and follow up on high-priority bids
Order Management
• Submit approved orders to scheduling with complete and accurate job details
• Coordinate all communication between customers and designers (questions, approvals, revisions)
• Perform field measurements as needed
• Ensure clear communication between customers and internal teams throughout design, production, and delivery
• Take ownership of customer service issues and complaints, coordinating internally to resolve them efficiently
• Coordinate truss repair solutions in the event of damage or breakage

• Ability to manage multiple projects without losing attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize tasks and make timely decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable communicating with builders, contractors, and designers
• Strong organizational and follow-through skills
• Ability to read and understand basic construction drawings (or willingness to learn quickly)
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to stay calm under pressure
• Ability to give and receive direct feedback
• Proficient with computers, email, and company software systems
• Willingness to travel locally to customer sites
Helpful Experience
• Construction, truss, or building materials experience
• Sales or customer-facing experience in a technical environment
