Position: Director of Nursing, DON

The ideal Registered Nurse candidate for this position should possess excellent time management, superior organization skills, be an exceptional communicator, and with some understanding of Long-Term Care regulations. The ideal candidate is very organized, works well with a team, is able to educate all types of backgrounds, and wants to maintain a safe environment for our residents’ patients, and employees.
Position Highlights:
- Monitors to see that treatments and medications are administered as ordered
- Maintains a system to ensure knowledge of patient status (such as: making daily rounds of all patients).
- Ability to plan and direct nursing service in an interdisciplinary team environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively with the medical/health care community, patients, and families.

Experience
-Must have South Carolina Registered Nurse (RN) license
-Must have superior communication skills & be an effective leader
-Must be flexible, caring, compassionate, and a team player
- Must be willing to work as a floor nurse if needed
-Prior experience in LTC/ SNF preferred
