HIM/Medical Records Director - Full Time
Pay: $15 - $20 / hour Depending on Experience
Don't miss this great opportunity for a Full Time Health Information Management Director with RHIT certification to join our team at NHC HealthCare Anniston! This position not required but preferred RHIT (Registered Health Information Technician) certification and prior ICD-10 CM Coding experience. Under guidance of the Health Information Regional, the Health Information Technician/Practitioner maintains the policies and procedures established for the recordkeeping practices of the center.
Qualifications:
- Health Information Technician
- Certification as a Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), CCA, or CCS preferred
- Active member of the American health Information Management Association (AHIMA) or AAPC preferred.
- Evidence of maintaining continuing education (CE) requirements of the American Health Information Management Association.
- Prior ICD-10 CM Coding experience preferred
- Preferred but not required prior Skilled Nursing Facility experience under PDPM
- Preferred but not required have MDS completion experience
