HIM Assistant

Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
NHC HealthCare Mauldin is seeking a professional and detail-oriented HIM Assistant to join our post-acute healthcare team in Greenville, SC.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of Health Information/Medical Records experience preferred
- CCS, CCA, or CPC-A certification preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of EHR systems, ICD-10-CM, medical terminology, scanning, and filing
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Review and maintain accurate patient medical records
- Scan and QA documents in the EHR system
- Ensure admission and discharge documentation is complete
- Assist physicians and staff with record updates
- Maintain filing systems and support audits/reports
