What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manager on Duty (MOD) position at NH Sportsplex?
MANAGER ON-DUTY PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
The MODs purpose is to manage the day-to-day activities of the facility based on their assigned shifts. (examples include: Coordinating club team practices, running youth sports leagues and tournaments, adult sports leagues, court rentals, and the like) companywide customer service, staff and subcontractor management including officials and coaches, online and public presence, assisting program managers and directors with their assigned programming and leagues, and the assistance with coordination of large facility expo and events.
MANAGER ON-DUTY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Enforcing business operations/processes/procedures, autonomously running individual leagues, fulfilling all “Manager on Duty” (MOD) shifts, basic website updates and management, software system management such as taking payments, managing customer service experience and general public reception of all assigned offerings, programs, events and tournaments. MODs are responsible for reporting back to their supervisors on all priority day to day issues and ensuring the facility is functioning at peak capacity on any given day, process and procedures are being enforced, goals are being met, and customers/members are satisfied with their experience each time they visit our facility.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS WORKING CONDITIONS:
This position requires computer work, and the ability to work 4-12-hour shifts. It also requires the ability to work nights and weekends.
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of a HS Degree
- Customer Service Background preferred
- Understanding and passion for sports required

COMPENSATION:
NH Sportsplex offers a highly competitive compensation package for our Managers on Duty which includes a competitive hourly rate, paid sick time, and the ability to participate in our “Business Growth Incentive Program”.
