About the Role

NH Investment & Securities America is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented professional to join our Global Equities Trading (GET) Desk in New York. The GET Desk manages a range of integrated functions across U.S. equity markets, and this role will contribute across those areas in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the Global Equity Trading desk’s day-to-day trading operations and client-related workflows
• Assist in processing and managing trade-related requests across the trade lifecycle
• Efficiently handle both incoming and outgoing calls to provide customers with prompt assistance
• Provide excellent client service and handle customer inquiries, complaints, and requests in a professional way
• Effectively communicating with clearing firms, custodian banks and Head office to mitigate regulatory risk
• Assist in maintaining compliance with applicable regulations and firm policies, including trade monitoring
• Prepare and maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation with a high degree of accuracy
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on business initiatives and projects
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, market products, and relevant regulatory developments

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of financial markets, trade lifecycle, and settlement practices
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Korean to effectively communicate with all levels of counterparties
• Previous experiences in client-facing roles are highly desirable
• Must maintain the confidentiality of all information received and distributed
• Self-motivated individual that is detail oriented and can accurately complete work within required time frames under minimum supervision
• Must possess the ability to gather and analyze information skillfully and document those findings in a clear and concise report
• Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects in a time-sensitive environment
• Outstanding Excel skills in a fast-paced work environment
• Desire to learn more in-depth about financial markets and the sales & trading field

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferably in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field
• FINRA Series 7 and 63 registered, or must be obtained within 180 days of employment
• Bilingual – fluent in both English and Korean (required)
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
