CDL-A OTR Truck Driver – Dry Van | Home Every Two Weeks
Location: Gary, IN
Pay: $1,260–$1,870 average per week, depending on experience and performance
Home Time: Every two weeks
Route: OTR (Over-the-Road)
Position: Company Driver
Both experienced drivers and qualified trainees are welcome to apply.
Pay & Schedule
- $1,260–$1,870 average weekly earnings, depending on the applicable pay scale
- Approximately 2,000–2,800 miles per week
- Mileage-based pay according to driving experience and length of haul
- $15 stop pay for each eligible stop, excluding the first and last stops
- $75 short-haul pay plus mileage
- Driver performance bonus program
- Three-month pay guarantee after first solo dispatch, subject to the applicable program terms
- Home every two weeks
- Day and night driving schedules
- Weekend work required
- Holiday schedules should be planned in advance
Job Details
- Over-the-road Dry Van freight
- Regional coverage across multiple states
- Routes do not go west of Denver, CO
- No routes into New York or the New England states
- No fixed lanes; routes vary according to freight needs
- Live loading, live unloading, preloaded trailers, and drop-and-hook operations
- Freight operations designed to provide consistent miles
- Drivers may operate on routes that keep them approximately two days from home, depending on dispatch
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Experienced drivers and qualified trainees may apply
- Must meet DOT and company safety requirements
- Safe and responsible driving history
- Must live within approximately 200 miles of ZIP code 46406
- Must be willing to drive OTR and stay on the road for the assigned schedule
- Must be available for day or night driving
- Weekend work required
- No special endorsements listed as required
- SAP drivers are not accepted
