Field Service Engineer
(Medical Imaging – MRI, CT, and X-ray)
Salary: $120,000 to $140,000
Location: Spokane, Washington

The Role:
A well established and growing medical imaging service provider is expanding its team and looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer with strong multimodality experience. In this field based role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of MRI and CT systems, with X-ray experience considered a strong advantage.
You will support healthcare facilities across the region, ensuring equipment operates safely, efficiently, and in line with all required standards. The role includes preventative maintenance, quality assurance checks, and close collaboration with internal teams and customers to deliver a high standard of service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot MRI, CT, and medical imaging systems across healthcare sites
- Perform preventative maintenance and QA inspections in line with schedules and standards
- Maintain accurate service records, documentation, and communication logs
- Work closely with internal teams and customers to support effective service delivery
- Represent company values in all customer interactions
- Support colleagues across the service team and contribute to a collaborative culture
- Report directly to the Area Field Service Manager
What We’re Looking For:
We are looking for a self-motivated engineer who is comfortable working independently in a fast paced, customer facing environment. You should be technically strong, confident in your diagnostic skills, and able to manage field service work with professionalism and efficiency.
Ideal candidates will have:
- 5 or more years of experience installing or servicing MRI and CT equipment
- Strong multimodality experience, ideally including X-ray
- Solid understanding of imaging systems and medical device components
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and IT troubleshooting skills
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work well with customers
- Willingness to travel within the region with occasional flexibility when required
