We are looking for a Cashier to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling customer transactions, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring accuracy in all transactions. The ideal candidate will have a friendly and professional demeanor, be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and be comfortable working with cash and credit cards. We are looking for someone who is reliable and organized, with a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Must be able to speak and understand Spanish. Must be able to stand for long periods of time and be able to lift 50 pounds. Must be 21 years old or older. Must be ok with shift scheduling, working weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Greet customers and answer their questions, offer product suggetions when appropiate.
- Check identification for age verification.
- Operate cash registers and other point-of-sale devices.
- Process payments, including cash, checks, and credit cards.
- Count money in the cash drawer at the beginning and end of shifts.
- Maintain cleanliness of the checkout area.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Restock inventory through out store.
- Maintain store cleanliness and free of hazards.
