NFM’s Replenishment Planner will execute the merchandise inventory strategy in assigned categories to manage inventory flow and achieve division goals. They will also provide forward visibility into all replenishment and ordering requirements to minimize stock-outs and inventory surprises.
Job Duties: A Day in the Life
- Establish: Set and maintain business rules for lead times, safety stock and network
- Review: Analyze data and evaluate stock levels to determine reasons for inventory overages, underage’s, excess an aged
- Collaborate: Work with vendors and internal partners to achieve promotional plans, improve supply chain performance, generate requirement plans and establish inventory flow opportunities
- Develop: Uphold relevant reports and product attributes, while incorporating trends, seasonality and promotional lifts
- Resolve: Correct issues with internal/external partners and communicate problems and solutions to appropriate levels of management
Qualifications: Can You Check These Boxes?
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, management, related field or equivalent experience.
- 1-year re-buying experience and/or inventory analysis
- Experience with retail buying, marketing or supply chain preferred
- Experience with Demand Planning or Supply Planning software preferred
- Ability to work nights, weekends and/or early morning hours based on business needs
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications
