What are the responsibilities and job description for the Encompass System Administrator position at NFM Lending?
The Encompass Systems Administrator is primarily responsible for managing NFM production applications and working with our users to ensure smooth and optimal loan origination process. This includes both users set up and configurations of the origination systems and transactional technology support as well developing new Encompass forms and documents and reporting tools. In addition, the ESA will be working in conjunction with the IT support staff to provide resolution. The ESA will be expected to take ownership of assigned incidents and problems, and contact required resources both inside and outside the company necessary to resolve the problem.
Essential Job Functions:
Specific tasks will include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Maintain company and user setups, personas and roles.
• Maintain Loan Setup settings as applicable to ongoing business management and regulatory needs.
• Maintain complete loan document library, build custom disclosure documents as needed and maintain eFolder settings to ensure preservation of a complete paperless environment with requisite document retention.
• Liaison with third party vendors to create and maintain interfaces as needed through ePass as well as custom integrations to optimize loan origination workflow.
• Maintain loan program directory in collaboration with Secondary Marketing to ensure accurate guidelines, program codes, Loan Template settings and document sets are available for all loan products.
• Manage service desk requests via service desk portal from corporate and affiliated users while troubleshooting issues and clearing tickets in a timely manner - escalating items to Ellie Mae tech support as needed.
• Provide tier 3 top level support for Encompass process, features, and workflow information to the Technical Writers for proper documentation of these; this includes changes to the system, updates, and new features.
• Maintain working relationships with technical support department at Ellie Mae including professional services group, Optimal Blue, Encompass Closing Docs and Mavent compliance affiliated service departments.
• Actively participate in vendor and user group forums and attend annual user meetings to ensure that the customer is leveraging the latest method of technology.
• Function as top level support for end users.
• Identify training needs on Encompass with corporate trainer to organize and facilitate Encompass end user training as needed; this includes new employee Encompass training, training on changes, new features, and refresher training as required.
• Work directly with the project management team for systems-related projects and technical issues during the initiation and planning phases.
• Mentor and train technicians in new technologies/methodologies
• Responsible for performing day-to-day monitoring to determine health of systems.
• Keep current with new Information Technology Security protocols, applicable laws and regulations.

The range provided reflects the expected compensation for this role and is considered a general guideline. Actual compensation will be decided based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience assessed during the interview process, and internal pay equity. Compensation may also include incentives such as per-file bonuses and discretionary bonuses as applicable to the role.
