What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mental Health Worker - Hospital Diversion Program South position at NFI Vermont, Inc.?
Hospital Diversion Program of NFI Vermont is a short-term, 24/7, inpatient facility for adolescents experiencing acute psychiatric crisis. Our skilled trauma-informed team of mental health workers provide our residents with crisis stabilization, clinical consultation, and individual treatment planning in a small and safe setting. We are looking for dynamic mental health workers to join our team.
Responsibilities:
• Work closely with our multidisciplinary team to support youth in crisis
• Provide supervision and support to adolescents during both awake and sleeping hours
• Facilitate a comfortable community alternative for inpatient youth
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of experience working with youth and/or adolescents
Or
• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or related field
Pay/Benefits
• 40 hours p/wk.
• Starting Pay $20.50 - $23.00 per hour
