In-Home Therapist (Master's Level)

NFI Massachusetts Inc., a non-profit human services agency proudly recognized as a 2026 USA TODAY Top Workplace, is currently seeking a Master’s Level In-Home Therapist for our Multi-Systemic Therapy (MST) program. We are looking for a dedicated professional committed to strengthening family systems, empowering caregivers, and supporting young people in living successfully at home. This position required travel in and around Central MA (Leominster, Worcester, Fitchburg).

MST is an evidenced-based in-home treatment model, with extensive research proving its effectiveness. MST therapists do whatever it takes through close collaboration with all individuals involved to help address the needs of adolescents displaying problematic or unsafe behavior such as truancy, running away, criminal involvement, or substance use. Treatment progress is achieved through intensive, strength-based interventions such as skill building, changing unhelpful family interactions, and increasing social support. Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct clinical intervention in a family’s home/community using the MST model for a caseload that averages 5 families max.
• Complete assessment and treatment plan with youth/family.
• Engage primary caregiver(s), family members, natural supports, and community partners (i.e. school, probation, child welfare) in change-oriented treatment.
• Present case summaries/treatment updates in weekly supervision and consultation, with ongoing support from supervisor, consultant, and fellow MST clinicians.
• Participate in program on call providing support to families served.
• Participate in initial and ongoing MST training and professional development activities.

Salary: $65,000-$75,000 commensurate on degree & licensure

Qualifications:

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Clinical or Counseling Psychology, Social Work, Criminal Justice, or a related area of study.
• Bi-lingual/Bi-cultural candidates preferred (specifically Spanish speaking).
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation.
• Possess strong time management, organizational skills & ability to work a non-traditional schedule.
• Current offices in Haverhill and Middleton with outreach to Worcester must live within 1 hour of these areas.
