The SCA Warehouse Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring efficient and accurate handling, storage, and movement of materials within the warehouse. This role is responsible for the accurate storing, shipping and receiving of products to meet company standards or safety, security, sanitation and productivity.
Available Shift: M-F 630A-3P
As directed, the SCA Warehouse Specialist performs a variety of warehousing duties that require an understanding of the company’s storage plan.
- Receive incoming materials and verify shipments against receiving documents; report discrepancies, shortages, or damages promptly.
- Route materials to designated storage locations according to company procedures.
- Safely store, stack, or palletize materials following prescribed storage methods to maintain inventory accuracy and space optimization.
- Conduct regular inventory counts; inspect stored materials for damage, deterioration, or loss and report findings.
- Pick and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy, proper labeling, and packaging.
- May operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and other power or hand trucks safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company policies and OSHA standards.
- Assist in cycle counts, inventory reconciliation, and warehouse layout improvements as directed.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, accuracy, and safety within the warehouse.
- High School Diploma/GED preferred.
- Must be able to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours.
- Must be able to lift and/or pull 50 lbs without restriction.
- Regular bending, lifting, stretching and reaching both below the waist and above the head.
- Walking in the warehouse and around area with great frequency; facilities are over a quarter mile in length.
- Should be able to work in environments with variable noise levels, lighting conditions and temperature variation and able to access all areas of building without limitations.
- Ability and availability to work irregular or extended hours including nights, weekends and holidays as needed by the customer
- Must have attention to detail
We are excited to share the base hourly rate for this position is $22.39/HOUR. NFI takes into consideration applicants' qualifications, experience, education, geographic location, when determining a starting rate of pay.
