Job Summary:
The Quality Control Checker is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of product quantities, qualities, and labeling for both inbound and outbound freight. This role requires attention to detail and strong analytical skills to detect any discrepancies or issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify the quantity, quality, and labeling of outbound orders to ensure they meet customer requirements
- Report any shortages, damages, or mis-shipments to management
- Check the contents of orders as filled and assembled by Order Selectors
- Compare the quantity, quality, labeling, and address of outgoing shipments with customer orders to ensure their completeness and accuracy
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Excellent communication, analytical, and mathematical skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- High school education or equivalent
Additional Requirements:
- Able to lift and/or pull 50 pounds without restriction
- Perform duties as instructed by management
- Ability and availability to work irregular or extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Able to stand and walk for continuous periods of time
