Our Dental Office is currently seeking a friendly, motivated, and organized Patient Care Advocate to join our front office team. The Patient Care Advocate plays a key role in delivering a welcoming, seamless, and personalized experience for every patient. You will be the first point of contact for our patients — in person and over the phone — and are responsible for coordinating their care from scheduling to check-out. Position Summary:
Monday - Friday
Saturday - On Rotation
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients with a warm and professional demeanor
- Answer phones, schedule appointments, collect copays/balances
- Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary pre-authorizations for treatment
- Assist patients with understanding their treatment plans and financial options
- Coordinate patient flow to ensure minimal wait times and a smooth visit
- Maintain accurate patient records and data entry into the practice management system
- Follow up with patients regarding treatment plans, upcoming appointments, and balances/Copays
- Serve as a liaison between patients and clinical team
- Uphold HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality at all times
Qualifications:
- Required: High school diploma or equivalent
- Required: Previous experience in dental, medical, or healthcare office setting
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of dental terminology and insurance
- Familiarity with Dentrix and Microsoft Office is a bonus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
