Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Power BI Developer with experience in AI integrations to design, develop, and optimize advanced business intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Power BI, data modeling, DAX, Power Query, and integrating AI/ML capabilities into reporting and analytics platforms. This role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, data engineers, and AI teams to deliver intelligent dashboards, predictive analytics, and data-driven insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and scorecards.
- Create and optimize semantic data models, datasets, and dataflows.
- Develop complex DAX calculations, measures, KPIs, and Power Query transformations.
- Integrate Power BI with AI and Machine Learning services such as Azure AI, Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Services, and custom ML models.
- Build AI-powered analytics solutions including predictive forecasting, anomaly detection, sentiment analysis, and recommendation engines.
- Utilize Power BI Copilot and Generative AI capabilities to enhance self-service analytics.
- Develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes using Azure Data Factory, Fabric, SQL Server, Snowflake, Databricks, or similar platforms.
- Implement row-level security (RLS), object-level security (OLS), and governance standards.
- Optimize report performance, dataset refreshes, and query execution.
- Integrate Power BI with REST APIs, Azure Functions, and AI services for real-time insights.
- Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
- Document technical designs, data models, and deployment processes.
- Support production environments and troubleshoot reporting issues.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with Generative AI and AI-powered analytics.
- Experience implementing AI features within Power BI.
- Knowledge of NLP, recommendation systems, or forecasting models.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
