Position: Handyman Assistant / Maintenance Technician in Training
Schedule: Flexible part-time schedule
Experience: No experience necessary – Willing to train

Are you a recent high school or college graduate looking for a hands-on job where you can learn new skills and gain valuable experience? We are looking for a dependable, motivated individual to join us as a Handyman Assistant in Training.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, learning how things work, and taking pride in a job well done. No previous handyman or construction experience is required. We are willing to train the right person who has a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn.

• Assist with interior and exterior painting.

• Learn basic drywall repair, patching, and finishing.

• Help with general maintenance, repairs, and home improvement projects.

• Assist with minor carpentry and other handyman tasks.

• Help prepare work areas and clean up after projects.

• Learn to safely use basic hand and power tools.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

• Complete other maintenance and repair tasks as needed.

• High school diploma, GED, or college experience preferred.

• No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.

• Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn.

• Comfortable with hands-on work and following instructions.

• Able to work independently as skills develop and as part of a team.

• Reliable transportation to and from job sites.

• Able to perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, lifting, and carrying materials.

We understand that flexibility is important, especially for someone starting out in their career. Days and hours are flexible, but the position requires availability several days throughout the week, with occasional Saturdays as needed. This is not a position limited to weekends or just one or two days per week.
