Job Overview
Nexus Waco is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented TCG Specialist to join our Trading Card Game team. This is an entry-level position with opportunities for advancement for individuals who demonstrate strong product knowledge, accuracy, and customer service skills.
As a TCG Specialist, you will help process trade-ins, evaluate card conditions, manage inventory, pull online orders, and assist customers with their trading card game needs.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and process trading card game trade-ins
- Accurately assess card conditions (Near Mint, Lightly Played, etc.)
- Use TCGplayer to price and research cards
- Pull and package customer orders
- Organize and maintain card inventory
- List and update inventory for online and in-store sales
- Assist customers with purchases and product recommendations
- Operate point-of-sale systems and process transactions
- Work as part of a collaborative TCG team
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Qualifications Required
- Strong understanding of card condition standards
- Experience using TCGplayer
- Knowledge of Magic: The Gathering and Pokémon Trading Card Game
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Friendly and professional customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
- Knowledge of Disney Lorcana
- Prior retail or inventory experience
- Experience buying and selling trading cards
- Experience in commander format
- Experience attending TCG tournaments or fulfilling TCG collections
Compensation & Benefits
