Join our team as an Engineering Intern!
You will be responsible for assisting the Project Manager with project inspections, budget/schedule updates, and GPS field location of assets.
This position is under the direct supervision of the VP of Operations.

Essential Job Functions:
- Develop basic sewer collection system layouts.
- Develop basic water distribution system layouts.
- Assist Project Manager with basic site surveying and site inspections.
- Assist Project Manager with contractor scheduling.
- Assist Project Manager with budget updates.
- Assisting with clerical and support tasks as assigned by the Project Manager or VP of Operations.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Ability to efficiently use MS Word/Excel and Foxit PDF Editor.
- Louisiana Driver's License.
- Able to work well in a fast paced, high energy environment.
- Able to work independently and have a positive attitude.
Education and Training:
- Acceptance into a Bachelor of Science Engineering degree program (Civil or Mechanical).
- Completion of 1st year of college at an accredited institution.
- Normal office conditions prevail.
- Candidate must be capable of visiting construction sites, undeveloped areas, and potential project locations.
- Possess and maintain a valid State of Louisiana driver's license throughout the period of employment.
- The work can involve sitting for extended periods at a work station, extensive walking, and occasional lifting up to 50lbs.
- Able to occasionally work in industrial locations that are noisy, dusty, and have strong odors.
- Position requires a maximum of 30 hours per week (normal office hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday-Friday).
