Requirements
- Licensure: Valid Texas Educator Certificate in Special Education (EC-12) issued by the Texas Education Agency (TEA).
- Additional Certifications: Generalist/Core Subjects certification for the appropriate grade level is preferred; ESL certification is a plus.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related education field.
- Experience: Previous classroom experience modifying curriculum, writing compliant IEPs, tracking data, and facilitating ARD meetings is highly preferred.
