We are seeking a skilled and motivated Lead Low Voltage Installer to join our dynamic team for a traveling role!
This position requires extensive travel to various job sites across the Southeast, working on commercial and industrial projects.
Responsibilities
As a Lead Low Voltage Installer, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of low voltage systems, including structured cabling, security systems, access control, CCTV, and telecommunications infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, leadership skills, and the ability to manage a small crew while ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to client specifications. You will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to deliver high-quality installations while adhering to industry standards and safety protocols.
Qualifications
Key responsibilities include interpreting blueprints and drawings, performing system installations, testing, and terminating cables, and providing training and guidance to junior installers.
Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in low voltage systems installation, proficiency with tools and testing equipment, and relevant certifications (e.g., BICSI, NICET, or manufacturer-specific credentials).
A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel extensively (up to 75% of the time) are required.
