Duties
- Develop and deliver engaging curriculum on EKG procedures, phlebotomy techniques, medical terminology, anatomy, pathology, and related clinical skills using various learning technologies such as Blackboard and LMS platforms
- Supervise student practice sessions in simulated and real clinical environments, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and industry standards
- Assess student performance through examinations, practical demonstrations, documentation review, and ongoing feedback to support their professional growth
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, clinical training hours, and certification requirements in compliance with accreditation standards
Education:
- Associate Degree
License:
- BPSS Instructor License in Medical Assistant (Including EKG & Phlebotomy) or BPSS Instructor's license in EKG and Phlebotomy
Experience
- Minimum two years of proven work experience as an EKG technician or phlebotomist with a strong background in patient care or laboratory procedures
- Prior teaching experience preferred
- Supervising experience in clinical or educational settings is highly desirable
- Familiarity with learning management systems such as Blackboard or LMS platforms for online instruction and course management
