Powder Coating Technician

Job Title: Powder Applicator

Position Description: As a Powder Applicator, you will be responsible for applying powder coat finishes to metal parts and products, ensuring a high quality and durable finish

Position Requirements:

Apply powder coat finishes using electrostatic spray guns to company quality and standards

Ensure consistent and even coating thickness and coverage

Cure powder coat finishes in ovens at specified temperatures and times

Inspect finished parts for quality and defects

Assist other applicators to further production

Minimize waste and inefficiencies

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Maintain maintenance on equipment pertinent to your position

Manage and maintain powder inventory and storage

See something, Say something (encourage improvements / recognize advancements)

Provide a Team Environment by communicating effectively and contributing to common goals

Inspire Innovation and Continual Improvement mindsets

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role or a strong willingness to learn
• Ability to operate and maintain pretreatment equipment
• Ability to withstand a hot(at times) and humid/wet environment
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Proactive and able to take initiative
