Location: Vadnais Heights, MN | Hybrid Available
Nexus Logistics Group is a freight brokerage startup built on relationships, transparency, and efficiency.
We're looking for a seasoned Freight Broker to play a foundational role in shaping our business. You'll drive revenue by continuously building a strong pipeline—actively prospecting and generating leads, closing new business, and expanding and managing customer accounts over time.
What You'll Do:
- Build and manage a book of business through new client acquisition and account growth
- Negotiate carrier and customer contracts with a focus on long-term value
- Develop and execute sales strategy aligned with company goals
- Collaborate with leadership on service optimization and market positioning
- Stay ahead of industry trends to identify growth opportunities
What We're Looking For:
- Proven success in freight brokerage sales
- Confident negotiator with deep industry knowledge and customer focus
- Comfortable in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment
- Proficient with CRM and TMS platforms (e.g., Revenova, Salesforce, or similar)
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
