About the Job
The Billing Account Manager is in charge of managing and supervising the entire billing process, guaranteeing fast and correct invoicing, addressing billing concerns, and upholding good customer relations. In addition to ensuring adherence to applicable laws and corporate standards, this position serves as the main point of contact for any billing-related questions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Can perform billing and invoicing can prepare, review, and issue accurate invoices in a timely manner.
Address and resolve client billing disputes promptly and professionally.
Identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement in billing processes.
Ensure all billing activities adhere to company policies, contracts, and legal regulations.
Communicate account and billing updates to relevant stakeholders.
Adjust invoices and accounts as necessary in accordance with company guidelines.
Evaluate existing billing systems and procedures to recommend improvements.
Qualifications:
3–5 years of professional experience in revenue cycle management or related field.
High School Diploma/GED required
At least 3 years of recent experience with physician medical billing
No specific license is typically required unless working in a specialized field (e.g., healthcare billing may require knowledge of HIPAA compliance).
Proficiency in billing software and tools.
In-depth understanding of billing processes, invoicing, account reconciliation, and financial principles.
Proficiency in English is required.
