Overview
We are seeking an experienced, self-motivated Project Manager/Estimator to manage disaster restoration and reconstruction projects from initial estimate through completion. The role will split time between the field (approximately 40%) and the office (60%), with an administrative team providing support in the office.
Duties
- Perform field inspections for project evaluation
- Prepare estimates using XActimate or Symbility software
- Communicate effectively with Insurance Adjusters and property owners throughout the project lifecycle
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure timely project delivery
- Manage change orders and ensure quality control on all aspects of the project
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain positive relationships with clients
- Ensure adherence to budget and project timelines
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in construction-related project management or property claims field adjusting
- Experience managing residential (70%) and light commercial (30%) projects ranging from $5K to $2M
- Established relationships with local subcontractors and vendors
- Strong knowledge of construction cost control procedures
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply contract documents, drawings, specifications, and project schedules
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills with a non-traditional approach to reconstruction processes
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency with XActimate (XM8), Symbility, DASH, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Education: 2-year technical degree or 4-year degree preferred
- Restoration Industry Certifications from IICRC are a plus
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
- Physical ability to climb ladders and stairs

Pay: $71,461.00 - $80,000.00 per year
