What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fitness Coach position at Nexus Fit Co.?
As a Coach you will be responsible for leading a fun and effective group fitness class.
In this role you will work directly with the Head Coach and General Manager to verify all efforts are aligned with the Nexus playbook. Your top priority will be ensuring that clients are safe while executing the class programming. In addition you will coach every individual in class to their current level of fitness and help empower them to improve.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Coach group fitness class (up to 14 people at a time) in accordance to the Nexus playbook
- Participation and assistance in gym events
- Connect with the team and clients - know important information so that you can take proper action
- Act as attendant; billing, address requests/concerns, picking up the gym equipment, etc.
Perform all other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- 0-2 years experience in group and one-on-one fitness coaching
- Group Training Certification, Personal Training Certification or CF-L1
- CPR Certification
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
