Manufacturing Logistics Forklift Operator

Picture your first week: you walk into a clean, safety-focused manufacturing facility in the Portage, Indiana area, meet a supportive team, and get moving fast—because roles start immediately. You’re on full-time hours with weekly pay, operating stand-up and sit-down forklifts and an electric pallet jack to keep orders flowing. That’s the rhythm at Nexus Employment’s client site.

What you’ll do

• Operate multiple types of equipment: stand-up forklift, sit-down forklift, and electric pallet jack.
• Pick customer orders accurately and move product throughout the warehouse.
• Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Handle general warehouse responsibilities as needed.

Shifts available on multiple schedules, with current openings on 2nd & 3rd shift.

What you bring

• At least 1 year of recent forklift operating experience.
• Hands-on forklift experience within the past 6 months.
• Ability to pass a written and driving test.
• Willingness to complete a prescreen forklift questionnaire.
