Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid position for a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor located in Homewood, IL, with the flexibility to work from home on certain occasions. The counselor will provide psychotherapy services tailored to children and their families, focusing on fostering healthy communication, emotional expression, and relational growth. Responsibilities include conducting individual and family counseling sessions, case management, developing treatment plans, maintaining accurate client documentation, and collaborating with other mental health professionals as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Counseling and Family Therapy to support clients in individual and group settings
- Experience in Case Management to maintain client records and ensure consistent care
- Knowledge of Psychology and Mental Health principles to understand and address client needs
- Excellent communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills
- Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, or a related field
- Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) certification in Illinois (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience working with children’s mental health and family therapy is highly desirable
- Ability to work independently and contribute to a team in a hybrid work setting
