Description:

Reporting to the Assistant Location Manager or Location Manager, the Commercial Applicator is a Non-Exempt position.

The Commercial Applicator will maintain and monitor facility chemicals in compliance with EPA, OSHA, State and Federal Regulations, along with facility safety protocols.

Primary Responsibilities

Leadership:

  • Promote an environment and culture that focuses on fulfilling the mission and core values of Nexus.
  • Model behaviors that support Nexus mission and core values to be a trusted advisor to our customers and members.

Operations:

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Provide application to areas by applying knowledge of weather conditions
  • Installs, adjusts, and perform minor repairs of application equipment
  • Maintain accurate records in compliance with EPA, OSHA, and State and Federal regulations
  • Ensure proper usage and storage of all chemicals according to directions and applies them at the recommended rate
  • Schedule and coordinate applications for facility
  • Order and maintain inventory of chemicals and other supplies
  • Performing other duties as assigned

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma
  • Two years commercial applications experience
  • Current pesticide applicator license
  • Exhibits solid organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Skilled in performing mathematical calculations
  • Experience in ensuring facility safety
