Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in New York, NY for Site Safety Managers and Coordinators. In this position, team members oversee day-to-day safety operations on construction and industrial sites, including conducting site safety inspections, monitoring compliance with safety regulations and company policies, and identifying potential hazards. They prepare and maintain safety documentation, reports, and logs, and lead or support safety meetings and toolbox talks with site personnel. The role includes coordinating and delivering safety training, supporting incident and accident investigations, and collaborating with project stakeholders to implement corrective actions and continuous safety improvements. Site Safety Managers and Coordinators serve as on-site safety resources, providing guidance to supervisors and workers to foster a proactive safety culture.

Qualifications
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Occupational Health and Industrial Safety, with the ability to apply best practices on active job sites.
- Proficiency in Safety Training and Environment Health and Safety (EHS) program implementation, including developing and delivering effective safety instructions.
- Experience with Accident Investigation, including root-cause analysis, documentation, and follow-up on corrective and preventive actions.
- Familiarity with relevant OSHA, local, and state safety regulations applicable to New York construction and industrial environments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse teams and influence safe work practices.
- Proven organizational skills, attention to detail, and capability to manage multiple tasks and reports in a fast-paced on-site setting.
- Prior experience in site safety management, coordination, or related field; New York City-specific safety experience is highly beneficial.
- Appropriate safety certifications or licenses (e.g., NYC Site Safety Manager or Coordinator certification, OSHA 30-hour Construction) preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move around active worksites safely, and to use required personal protective equipment.
